From June 6th to 9th, 2025, the German Youth Red Cross (Deutsches Jugendrotkreuz, JRK) hosted its highly anticipated Super Camp 2025 in the Weser Uplands of Lower Saxony, near Hameln. The event brought together over 2,000 JRK members from across the country to celebrate 100 years of youth humanitarian work and to strengthen the bonds within the global Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
Spanning over 80,000 square meters, the camp was not just a celebration, but it also served as a hands-on training ground for German civil defense professionals, who participated in the setup operations one week before the event began. Members of the German Red Cross (DRK) from around the country worked together to prepare the site, with the dismantling taking place the week after.
While LANCO did not play a direct organizational role, our SG 300 aluminum shelters and RDT S 600 exoskeleton shelters were widely used throughout the camp. A total of 50 RDT S 54 shelters supported logistics, storage, and staff needs, while SG 300 shelters provided sleeping accommodations for the young participants.
Known for their reliability and adaptability, LANCO shelters ensured safety, comfort, and operational efficiency throughout the entire event, enduring intensive use and variable weather with ease.
We’re proud to see LANCO contribute to such a meaningful initiative that blends youth education, community spirit, and emergency preparedness.
