Supporting military medical operations with our INX shelters

We are proud to announce that the Georgian Ministry of Defense has chosen our versatile INX inflatable exoskeleton shelters to equip new Role II field hospitals. The project is part of the European Peace Facility's initiative to support the defense forces of the Republic of Georgia.

INX Shelters Meeting the Specific Needs of Field Medicine

Our inflatable exoskeleton INX 300 shelter offers a unique combination of rapid deployment, easy interconnection, exceptional reliability, and robust construction. This makes them ideal for the demanding environment of a field hospital.

LANCO INX hybrid shelters offer a revolutionary solution for the defense industry. Their innovative frame design can be effortlessly installed by just two operators in minutes, even with the shelter already erected and without requiring any tools. This unparalleled speed of deployment, coupled with the shelter’s spacious and clutter-free interior, makes it ideal for both rapid response operations and long-term deployments. Hence, the INX is more than a temporary shelter. Its robust construction ensures it can serve as a permanent structure for extended missions, providing a unique combination of rapid deployability and long-term durability.

For the Georgian project, we understood that customization plays an important part. Five INX 29 shelters were specifically outfitted with our efficient Insulation System to ensure optimal temperature control. Additionally, the mobile hospital was provided with a modular rigid floor, lighting system, and a powerful portable air conditioning unit with ducted air supply for optimal patient comfort.

Advanced Medical Support with Role II Field Hospitals

Role II field hospitals are essentially mobile hospitals deployed in temporary locations, often in response to emergencies or within military operations. They provide crucial comprehensive medical support, functioning as the backbone of on-field medical care. These facilities receive patients from Role I units, performing triage, resuscitation, and ongoing care until patients recover or transfer to a higher-level hospital.

Role II field hospitals act as comprehensive medical hubs, offering a range of advanced services from urgent care to surgery. This includes treatment for illnesses and injuries, infectious diseases, on-site diagnostics via lab and X-ray, and even life-saving surgeries in some cases.

Financial Support with The European Peace Facility

The European Peace Facility, established by the European Union in 2021, provides financial assistance for military and defense-related activities outside the union’s region. To promote regional stability and prevent conflict, the European Union provided financial and material assistance to Georgia's military, facilitating this project.

By equipping Georgia’s Ministry of Defense with a state-of-the-art field hospital, we are proud to contribute to their vital efforts in saving people’s lives.
